Reflecting on 2024 – Our Biggest Year Yet

As we continue into 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible work we accomplished last year. 2024 was our biggest year yet—a testament to the dedication, resilience, and impact of our team in serving the communities of Coos and Curry Counties.

A Year of Record-Setting Impact

Over the past year, we provided 1,262 households—more than 2,500 individuals—with a safe and stable place to call home every night. This milestone is not just a number; it represents real families, real people, and real lives transformed by the work we do every day.

Beyond housing, our impact extended into the broader community and local economy:

  • $6.1 million in Housing Choice Voucher Program payments directly supported local landlords, ensuring families remained housed while strengthening the regional economy.
  • $346,000 was invested in contractors and vendors, keeping our properties well-maintained and supporting small businesses.
  • Every outreach event attended, every client assisted, and every landlord engaged expanded our reach, ensuring more people could access the resources they need to thrive.

A Testament to Our Team

None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our staff, partners, and community stakeholders. Every application processed, every unit maintained, and every challenge overcome contributed to this success. The impact we create goes far beyond housing—it fosters stability, opportunity, and hope.

Looking Ahead

As we continue into 2025, I am excited for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. The past year has proven that when we work together, we can achieve remarkable things. While there is still much to do, I have no doubt that this team will continue to rise to the occasion.

To everyone who played a role in making 2024 a success—thank you. Your hard work and dedication don’t just provide housing; they help build stronger, healthier communities.

Here’s to another year of progress and impact!
