Public Notice: Significant Amendment to the 5-Year PHA Plan for CCHA

Coos-Curry Housing Authority

The North Bend City/Coos-Curry Housing Authority (NB/CCHA) is proposing a Significant Amendment to its current 5-Year Public Housing Agency (PHA) Plan.

📌 Proposed Change:

CCHA is proposing to add a new local preference to the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program for households currently assisted under the Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV) program. This preference will apply to households at risk of losing assistance due to the expiration of EHV funding or other administrative limitations. The goal is to ensure continuity of assistance and prevent a return to homelessness.

This change qualifies as a Significant Amendment under HUD guidelines, as it involves a material revision to tenant selection preferences.
