Project Update: Ellensburg Housing in Gold Beach
We’re excited to share progress on Ellensburg Housing, a much-needed affordable housing development in Gold Beach, Oregon. This 20-unit project will provide safe, stable homes for some of our community’s most vulnerable residents, including seniors at risk of or experiencing homelessness and families recovering from domestic violence.
The project includes:
-
16 units for senior households with supportive services
-
4 newly constructed family units, including one reserved for a domestic violence survivor, in partnership with The SAFE Project
-
On-site services to help residents access wraparound supports and housing stability
-
Project-Based Vouchers to ensure long-term affordability
Ellensburg Housing is being funded through the HOME-ARP program and developed with strong collaboration between regional and local partners, including Brookings CORE Response and The SAFE Project.
This project represents a significant step forward in addressing rural housing needs on the South Coast—and ensuring that every person, regardless of age or circumstance, has a place to call home.
Stay tuned for more updates as we move closer to construction!
