It’s inspiring to see what can happen when vision, collaboration, and determination come together. From the sky above North Bend, the transformation is clear — the North Bend Family Housing development is taking shape faster than anyone expected.
This milestone represents more than new construction — it’s the creation of 105 new affordable homes that will soon welcome families, veterans, and individuals from across the South Coast. The project is a partnership between North Bend City/Coos-Curry Housing Authorities, DCM Communities, and the State of Oregon, funded through the LIFT and Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) programs.
When complete, North Bend Family Housing will include:
-
On-site management and resident-services staff
-
Behavioral- and physical-health coordination through Coos Health and Wellness
-
Workforce and youth-development supports through local partners
-
20 PSH units with dedicated wrap-around services
Every beam, foundation pour, and rooftop represents a step toward housing stability for hundreds of South Coast residents.
As construction continues ahead of schedule, we’re grateful to our partners, funders, and community members for believing in this vision. Together, we’re not just building housing — we’re building opportunity.
